Micromax FunBook is an educational tablet popularly known as the EDUTAINTMENT tablet with good features and also priced good. The Tablet comes with latest Android OS v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and Cortex A8 Processor with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz. The Tablet measures 7 inch capacitive touchscreen with normal resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It also has Virtual QWERTY, multi touch input. Micromax FunBook price in India is in the range of Rs.6,000/-.
Connectivity :
The Tablet has no support for GSM voice communication, SMS and MMS. Internet Connectivity is via Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. 3G data Connectivity is via external 3G USB Dongle only. microUSB v2.0 is available for connecting to PC and USB 2.0 port and HDMI port for connecting to other display devices.
Camera, Music & Video :
Micromax FunBook has Rear VGA Camera, lack of Front Camera is a drawback. The Tablet’s media player can play MP3, WMA, OGG, AAC, FLAC, APE, 3GP, WAV (audio) and MP4, H.264, H.263, WMV (video). Universal 3.5 mm headset jack is available in the tablet.
