When International Data Corporation (IDC), in Q3, 2010 proclaimed G’Five as the as the second largest selling mobile phone brand in India after Nokia, even surpassing Samsung, many of us were shocked. Well, the company is at it again with the surprise announcement about launching 3G and Wi-Fi enabled Tablet PCs under Rs. 10000/- in India. \"G\'Five plans to launch its range of tablet PC mobiles in Indian market by the end of June 2011. We strongly believe that the benefit of the technology should not be limited to a few but must be available to the masses,\" Arshit Pathak, Managing Director, Kingtech Electronics India said. The company has announced both Android and Windows-based tablet computing devices for India and plans to launch two 7 inches and 10 inches in tablets for both Android and Windows 7 software by the end of June 2011. G’Five also plans to shake the industry by extending the warranty of its mobile phones to 500 days as against the industry average of 365 days, according to the announcement.

Well, a tablet PC mobile with both 3G and Wi-Fi priced under Rs. 10000/- will be a path breaking move by G’Five. Provided the overall quality is good, in terms of User interface and Screen resolution and in other parameters, these low priced tablet PC mobiles will decimate the competition. Also, if one is to pay Rs. 10000/- for any gadget in India, one will be cautious about the durability of the unit so much so that G’Five should be determined to provide the desired quality to their products.

Almost all companies providing Chinese mobiles cheap in India do not insist on the quality. Same will happen to cheap tablets as well.
