iBall, a well known computer peripherals company in India has announced new Android 2.3 tablet, iBall Slide (Price in India is Rs. 13995/-). Well, one more Tablet added to the long list of Tablets in India, but a better one this is. Please find full specifications and up-to-date price (when it is available) of iBall Slide at iBall Slide Tablet price in India. Specifications include Android OS v2.3 (Gingerbread) (wonder why the more tablet specific Android OS v3.1 is not used) and a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor. Screen is 7-inches Capacitive Touchscreen (but type is not specified) and it has below par 800 X 480 pixels resolution. The tablet has a 2 MP Front Camera, multi format music and video players, 8 GB internal storage, MicroSD Card Up to 32GB and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g but no inbuilt 3G. One has to use Dongle (Data Cards) to get connected by 3G. Overall a mixed package here and price factor is very important since other cheaper tablets like Mercury mPad and Beetel MagiQ are already in the market with similar specifications.
